To begin with the project, in February 2026, we conceptualized and drafted a 5-chapter guide focusing on digital literacy, aimed at helping migrant communities navigate digital tools and employ them in everyday settings. The chapters focused primarily on becoming familiar with using the internet, how to access online learning tools, exploring the gig economy, as well as ways in which to use tech in daily life while continuing to upskill over time.
Alongside the workshops, in April 2026, to make note of essential changes both pre and post the distribution drive, we drafted a survey with questions that assessed current levels of technological access among beneficiaries.
This was they followed up with in June 2026, where we conducted the post-donation survey that focused on assessing the impact digital literacy donations had for the beneficiaries after a month of use.
